Does applyapply submit job applications for me?
No. applyapply writes the application (a tailored resume, a cover note and answers to the form's questions) and fills the form when you ask it to, but you review every answer and press submit yourself. It never submits on your behalf.
What does applyapply cost?
Credits, with no subscription. $10 buys 1,000 credits and they never expire. A full application kit costs 10 credits (about 10 cents), rewriting the tailored resume costs 8, and a full cover letter costs 8. New accounts start with free credits, enough for a few kits.
How long does it take to write an application?
About 10 to 15 seconds for a complete kit: a resume tailored to that posting, a cover note, and answers to the questions on the form. Searching for new jobs runs in the background and emails or texts you when it finishes.
Where does applyapply find jobs?
It keeps its own ledger of public listings, refreshed every few hours: the a16z and Sequoia portfolio job boards, Himalayas, We Work Remotely, and the monthly Hacker News "Who is hiring" thread. You can also hand it any job link yourself.
Which job sites does it work on?
Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and most hosted application systems, including postings embedded on a company's own careers site. If it cannot read a posting, it says so and writes nothing rather than inventing an application.
Do I need the browser extension?
No. Put applyapply.xyz/ in front of any job link and the kit is written on a page you can copy from, or text the link to applyapply. The Chrome extension adds one-click form filling and attaches your tailored resume on the job page itself.
Will it invent experience I do not have?
No. Every answer comes from your resume and the answers you have given it. Questions only you can answer (start date, work authorization, relocation, sponsorship) are left blank for you, and a resume rewrite keeps your strongest achievements word for word.
What happens to my resume and personal data?
It is used to run applyapply for you and nothing else. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train a general-purpose model. You can download everything or delete your account at any time from Profile and settings.
Can an AI agent use applyapply?
Yes. Create a personal API key and point any MCP-capable agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) at applyapply.xyz/mcp, or call the HTTP API described at applyapply.xyz/openapi.json. The agent can search listings, write kits, rewrite resumes and manage the pipeline with your credits.
How is this different from auto-apply tools?
Auto-apply tools send hundreds of generic applications for you, which is fast but produces low response rates and can get accounts on job sites restricted. applyapply writes one strong application at a time from your real experience and leaves you in control of what gets sent.
